Come join the Sega Seggae Reggae party with Sonik Waves. Fusing traditional and contemporary rhythms from their homeland Mauritius, along with influences from Maloya, Moutia, Reggae, Zook and Calypso from surrounding islands, this music will have you hooked from the beginning.
Accompanying these exceptional musicians are their traditional dancers who bring their dynamic, colourful and passionate culture to life with their incredible costumes and graceful flows. Sonik Waves have played in various festivals around Australia, promoting the music and cultures from Mauritius and the Mascareignes Islands.
