Afrovival are purveyors of resplendently easy-going African township music with a contemporary play on musical arrangement, dance choreography and songlines from its folklore roots. This reflects the collaboration of South African, Botswanan, Congolese, Australian and Tanzanian influences from the musicians themselves making Melbourne their hometown.

 The Mzuri Dance Childrens Group of Fitzroy, ages 5-18 features in Afrovival’s performance tonight representing the dance talent and community spirit of the South Sudanese youth, also in their hometown of Melbourne!

Afrovival have headlined Black Harmony Day at Fairfeild Ampitheatre alongside Kutcha Edwards, Federation Square for Viva Victoria, Emerge festivals (Multicultural Arts Victoria), Bella Union Trades Hall, Botswana High Commission Canberra, African Music & Culture Festival AMCFOZ, Former Botswana President welcome at the Windsor, Headlined Big West Festival Opening Footscray Arts Centre, Queen Victoria Night Market & Healesville Music Festival, Sydney Rd Street party, Brunswick Music Festival.
