Charismatic and entertaining singer/songwriter Peter Vadiveloo plays original songs that make you both think and feel. Combining vocals (huge voice!), guitar, percussion and looper pedal, his songs are variously playful, political and provocative. Peter’s music covers an engaging and eclectic mix of genres including blues, folk, funk, latin, flamenco and cabaret. Peter is an established artist, having performed nationally and internationally for over 20 years.
Suzette Herft is a soulful songwriter with a sublime voice, who shines with a natural grace and presence.
Born in Sri Lanka, but a true Melbournian at heart, this captivating contemporary troubadour takes you on a journey of the heart, baring her soul, sharing her wisdom and her passion for healing through song.
Suzette has won wide acclaim for her brilliant tribute show to her hero – Joan Baez for being the ‘voice for the voiceless’ at numerous festivals around Australia, including standing ovations at recent Port Fairy Folk Festivals. She is a masterful facilitator of singing sessions and a ‘song catcher’ with her wide-ranging repertoire and her passion for inclusivity and ‘giving everyone a voice’. Suzette’s passion for encouraging fellow songwriters has seen her founding and facilitating the Melbourne Songwriters’ Session.
The title track ‘Planting Roses’ from her most recent album ‘Roses’ (produced by the award winning Shane O’Mara), was a finalist in the Australian Independent Music Awards 2016.
She has been described as ‘ a charismatic singer-songwriter with a heart in tune with her world and a voice to go with it.’ (The Australian Songwriter)
